​This evolving website is a gateway to enhancing your horticultural knowledge and focuses on the RHS Level 2 Qualifications. â€‹

There are two unofficial course textbooks for the RHS Level 2: Principles of Plant Growth and Development. These are the first and only books written specifically for the new (2022) RHS level 2 theory. â€‹

YouTube Channel Launches!
  • YouTube
   This channel brings together YouTube content from various creators that's relevant to the RHS Level 2 theory.
   Within the channel there are eight playlists (as pictured below), one for each topic of the Level 2. These are labelled e.g. 'RHS Level 2 Theory. Unit 1. Topic 1: Plant Science 1', so you can focus your studies topic by topic. 
   Videos will be added to each playlist, so check back for more content.

Released December 2024:


The Unit 2 textbook written to (unofficially) accompany RHS Level 2: Principles of Plant Growth and Development, Unit 1.

​

This joins the Unit 1 textbook and the Plant Examples book to offer the first ever (unofficial) RHS specific textbooks for the new (2022) RHS Level 2 course.

NEW in November:

Go to the Plant Examples Book page where a free, editable spreadsheet can be downloaded.

 

It includes all the plants listed in the book. There are two tabs:

  • Tab one lists the plants under each category 

  • Tab two has an alphabetical plant list with categories given for each.

There are a couple of ideas for activities that will build your knowledge of how plants are categorised and used in gardens: see Plant Examples Book page.

This is the first textbook written specifically for the revised 2022 RHS level 2 theory.
