2025/2026 Academic Year: in November 2025 there was an update to topic 4, element 5 of the unit 2 syllabus. This is a minor change due to policy and legislation updates in the UK, and it includes a name change for topic 4, element 5.

The book has been updated to reflect this. If you have a version of the book with topic 4, element 5 titled 'Biodiversity Action Plans', this is the previous version. The new title for topic 4, element 5 is 'Biodiversity Policies and Legislation'.
